For the price, this kit is a good deal. The switch alone is $25 elsewhere. I kind of wish I'd had the option to get a gray switch instead of black, but it doesn't look out of place on my dash. The instructions are the worst part - completely unhelpful. It's just a photograph of the kit sort of laid out and labeled. There's no guidance for routing of wires or attachment points for grounds or positive/ACC wire or anything. I emailed ProTuningLab for more detailed instructions and was sent a link to an installation video for a different car. Some of it was applicable, but not the + wire because that kit came with a fuse tap/add-a-circuit and the Accent one I bought didn't. I actually ended up buying one of those (Advance Auto Parts part# 0FHM0200ZP, $8) because I had no idea which of the dozens of wires under my dash to attach the vampire tap to. (BTW, the only 10amp spot I could find in the fuse box that wasn't constantly powered was for the radio.) The instructions also don't tell you how to route the wire through the firewall (I only found the one main hole, poked through the rubber boot from under the dash with a straightened coat hanger, taped the wire to that and pulled it back through). I figured it out eventually and got it all hooked up and working, but it could have been much easier and faster if ProTuningLab or the manufacturer of the kit had provided better, more vehicle-specific instructions. All in all, I'm happy with the final product, but if you've never worked with auto accessory wiring before, you're pretty much on your own. If you use any of my suggestions, you do so at your own risk with the agreement that you will not hold me liable for any damages to you or your car.
